ICT Month 2017

INTRODUCTION

Technology has been one of the key drivers in fast growing economic development nowadays. It has been also the bridge of connection to solve the different problems around us. Since the Department of Education aims to provide quality education, Information Communication Technology (ICT) was introduced to the curriculum. No doubt, the great impact of this in education is undeniable. It lessens the teachers ‘work and develops the skills of the educators and especially the students. They can compete globally and they can use the technology in more beneficial ways.

HIGHLIGHTS

In line with the Division Memorandum No. 111, s. 2017, Hiniero Elementary School conducted school ICT Month Celebration. The second of June was the start of the celebration and the overall election of ICT officers was conducted. The officers were from 4th grade to 6th grade and they promised that they will do their best to do their duties. Slogan writing contest, poster making contest and essay writing contest was conducted third Friday of June. Last Friday of June was the classroom based celebration, K to Grade 3 had a film showing and unlimited selfies and groupies. It was a great a month for all the pupils and teachers.
