Before our school named Hiniero Primary School, it is a fifth-year-old school in Bongabon District. It was opened last September 30, 2011. That time, the total enrolment of the school was only 94 pupils from Grades I – IV handled by two permanent teachers namely Mr. Eric V. Cantor, Grade I, Mrs. Marissa A. Pulante, Grade II and two PLSB teachers namely Mrs. Loretes A. Feliciano, Grade III, Mr. Alvin C. Tobias, Grade IV. But now it is a complete elementary and named Hiniero Elementary School with a population of 196 pupils, 8 permanent teachers. Before it was composed of 5 makeshift building made of sawali and cogon, 1 PTA concrete building and LGU building that served as the classroom for grades I to VI.
This school benefits the school children because they will no longer walk a 2-km. way to attend their classes in the nearby school, they can also be better supervised by their parents especially their health and nutrition which are at stake when they are going to a far school.
